About the Role

This diverse ‘MarTech expert’ role is a client-facing position that involves technical configurations, training, administration and liaising with sales and product teams.

As an IntelligenceBank Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer, you will own and close the technical ‘win’ in large Mid-Market and Enterprise client organisations, inspiring them to choose IntelligenceBank. Leveraging your product and domain expertise, you will work closely with prospective marketing clients to understand their business and technical needs and present compelling solutions that deliver unique business value. Must be highly creative from a technical perspective, motivated and able to multi-task across multiple sales pursuits and departmental initiatives within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Ability to get involved at a deep technical level combined with business acumen is vital.

What you'll be doing

  • Be our product expert to help our sales team showcase the IntelligenceBank solution and use your knowledge of our product and how it can integrate with other MarTech systems
  • Create custom client demo sites with our ‘codeless’ MarTech platform to help win enterprise deals
  • For advanced enterprise deals, apply your knowledge of CSS, HTML and JavaScript to our standard demo sites to create custom offerings
  • Help drive deals to closure through pre-sales support and technical account ownership as part of a joint Account Executive/Solutions Engineer pursuit team
  • Perform functional qualification of prospects by developing a thorough understanding of business and technical needs
  • Design and scope client-specific solutions that address and balance client requirements with product and services delivery capabilities
  • Configure proof of concepts API integrations
  • Configure out of the box connector integrations with AEM, Drupal, Adobe CC, Sitecore, WordPress and others
  • Prepare and present presentations and customised client-specific product demonstrations
  • Own and scope integrations, customisations in conjunction with Professional Services
  • Build custom forms and reports during the sales process for custom demos
  • Lead RFI/RFP responses from the product, solution, and technical perspectives
  • Keep up to date with competitive products and industry developments
  • Support Marketing efforts through participation in webinars and industry conferences and events

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a technical discipline or equivalent technical experience in enterprise software
  • Knowledge of MarTech tools such as web content management, eCommerce, Adobe CC, and API’s
  • Knowledge of project management concepts, tools, and best practices
  • 5+ year’s pre-sales experience in enterprise B2B line-of-business software and SaaS
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies, APIs, SaaS, and CSS, HTML and JavaScript technologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • A ‘can do’ attitude to fast-paced and dynamic situations, challenges and customers
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into business value and ROI
  • Ability to get technical and in-depth on integrations, APIs and customisations including building, testing and presenting custom solutions using the IntelligenceBank platform
  • Ability to create and customise reports
  • Willingness to travel within APAC when required (post-COVID)
