What is Knowledge Management Software?
Knowledge Management (KM) Software is purpose-designed to streamline the centralization, sharing and reporting of business-critical information. With the explosion of digitized information every business and government organization is experiencing, knowledge management systems have never been more important to ensure information is shared and applied across the business.
Usually data that’s stored in a KM system are in the form of documents, images, video, database records, comments and stakeholder feedback.
At IntelligenceBank, we believe it is critical that KM software is ‘active’ whereby information is as interactive and proactive as possible. This ensures your information gets used across your stakeholder groups.
How different people within the information management process use KM software
Managing information doesn’t have to be complicated or messy – as most people experience with unstructured share drives, Dropbox and intranets. With IntelligenceBank KM, each stakeholder has the tools they need to contribute to a fast and more efficient knowledge sharing process.
Admins set the structure of document library folders, registers, alerts, custom reports, task management, dashboards and workflows. With our highly configurable interface, if changes need to be made, Administrators can do so easily without technical support.
As IntelligenceBank KM software is user friendly, selected end users who contribute to the knowledge base can add information to their specified areas. If you have participating vendors or agency partners, they can be granted publish access, but have limited access to the rest of the portal.
End users can be given access to view online only or view and download. For specified information sets, you can email links to non registered users.
